My journey as a DJ began back in my school days when I was in 10th standard. I first saw a DJ performing on Virtual DJ, which instantly caught my attention. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the software on my laptop and started experimenting with music on my own. That moment sparked a deep interest in DJing.Soon after, I came across a DJ set on YouTube by DJ Snake, and that completely changed my perspective on music. His energy, transitions, and stage presence inspired me deeply, and I became a huge admirer of his style. I began practicing regularly, trying to understand mixing techniques and building my own flow using just my laptop.Since I didn’t own a DJ controller at that time, I shifted to a smartphone DJ simulator app, which was easier to control and helped me improve my hands-on skills. As my passion grew, I later upgraded to using an iPad, which made my practice sessions even more refined and consistent.During my college years, I started performing at farewell events, small college parties, and internal functions, gaining real crowd experience and learning how to read and engage an audience. These performances helped me understand energy control, song selection, and the importance of crowd interaction.Eventually, I invested in my first DJ controller, marking a major milestone in my journey. I performed at a New Year’s Eve party in Bhimtal in 2025, which became my first major live setup performance. I have also previously played at a club event in Bareilly, including an event called "Cozy Night", which further boosted my confidence and stage presence.Alongside live performances, I also started creating my own remixes, mashups, and edits, allowing me to bring originality and freshness to my sets. Today, as DJA PXE, I continue to evolve, experiment, and grow — focused on delivering energetic sets, engaging crowds on the mic, and creating memorable experiences through music.
