Biography

Born in Pondicherry, Vishnu, aka Wish, developed a passion for music at an extremely early age, rising to become one of Chennai’s top DJs within a short span of time. But it wasn’t a cakewalk for the young artist. Having begun his career working with local sound providers, Wish quickly grew at the console with a penchant for hip-hop and house. On turning 20, Wish arrived on to the professional stage with a bang and has since been known for his energetic sets and tight mixing skills. In 2012, Wish entered the digital realm, becoming one of the first Indian artists to venture into visual DJing. Besides playing in and around Chennai throughout the week, VDJ Wish is a guest performer for the Videotech Nights held every Thursday at Bangalore’s Xtreme Sports Bar. He also performs for the ladies nights held every Friday at Turf Club. With the rest of his career ahead of him, we can definitely expect much more from this young lad.
