Shireen Aida Khan aka DJ Shireen is one of the most loved and best figures in the Indian DJing scene. She started out as the country’s youngest female DJ, in 2005. And soon shot to fame with her electrifying presence behind the console. Shireen loves to experiment with sounds and has received an impeccable repute for absolutely stunning the crowd with her signature styles of music. She began DJing at the age of 19, and in no time she made it to the national finals of the Times War of the DJs, a feat to announce that a promising talent has arrived on the floor. In a span of 10 years, Shireen has performed and driven crowds mad with her exclusive sense of understanding the pulse of people. DJ Shireen was born and brought up in Kolkata and currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has performed at various clubs in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Dubai, Tanzania, Singapore, Bangladesh, Mumbai, Delhi, Nepal, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vizag, Pune, Nagpur, Raipur, Noida, Goa, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Shillong, Guwahati, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Aamby Valley, Nagpur, Dibrugarh, Cochin, Bhopal, Indore, Kozhikode, Bhuj, Ranchi, Vijaywada, Mysore, Vapi, Ahmedabad, Rourkela, and Bhubaneswar – to name a few. The fact that most of the clubs have repeatedly invited her to play earned her the title of a “Rockstar DJ” over the years. At 29, she already produced several independent tracks and received a massive fan-following. DJ Shireen has won countless prizes as an actor. She is also a professional emcee for the last 10 years and is also a gifted rapper. She loves playing around genres like electro house, progressive house, funky house, tech house, Bollywood, Hip-hop, and RnB. A lot of radio stations in the UK have been playing her tracks.
