Sahil Joshi is a professional DJ based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai.
He first started DJing at the age of 16 just after finishing school. He played around with the inbuilt sound recorder provided in Windows computer which fascinated him a lot.
He then moved on to virtual DJ. Thanks to his brother-in-law who gifted him a small Hercules Virtual DJ controller, he started to work as a DJ. Sahil managed to compose a remixed track of Golmaal VS Temperature, which was fairly appreciated by listeners all over the country.
Having no knowledge of instruments and music theory at all, Sahil struggled a lot while making 'in-key' mashups on the virtual DJ. Somehow, these house tracks were produced, and he started to research on the internet.
Lots of practice and implementation of mental patterns/ideas onto the keyboard was the reason behind Sahil being a decent keyboard player as well as a fairly natural composer!
He made a lot of mixes in the years 2009-2012 from Bollywood to Punjabi to Sufi to international pop, which were appreciated by a lot of folks in and out of the industry.
