My Compelling Story
Nikkhil is a professional DJ based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Being influenced by his father’s eclectic collection of funk music (Lipps. Inc., Rare Earth) electronica (Enigma, Deep Forest), synth-infused 90s music (Prodigy), all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and house music, Nikkhil ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. He started his career as an Assistant DJ in 2004 at the age of 16, in Pune - Xion and took over the console solely within six months as an in-house deejay for the same, covering various styles and genres with a focus on dance music and hip-hop. He has played at: Club Alibii, Colaba D’bell, Lower Parel Onyx, Intercontinental, Marine Drive Cheval, Kala Ghoda Fbar, Lower Parel Red Light, Kala Ghoda
