DJ Kave is a professional DJ service based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. He is among the most renowned DJs the clubbing and party scene of India. He has worked with many international artists and musicians, and performed LIVE with the two-time Oscar winner, music maestro AR Rahman – for his ‘Jai Ho’ concerts in Calicut and Pune, in May 2009. Kave performed for the crowd of over 50,000 people. DJ Kave is also the official DJ for the renowned Indian rapper, Blaaze, and has toured with him for several concerts. His forte lies in spinning the hip-hop music, but he is Expectedly an open format DJ, full of versatility with a touch of electronica and sprinkled with Bollywood. Kave has been the two-time representative for the DMC World DJ Championship and also got selected to represent India in London, for the World DMC Championships 2007 and 2008. Further, DJ Kave started DJing in Doha, Qatar, where he had been living then. Played at: Ava Lounge (Cochin) Hint, Sphira, Taika, and Athena (Bangalore) Chrome (Vizag) F-Bar and BnC (Hyderabad) Escape (Mumbai) En Vogue and Loop (Pune) Plush, Shimmers, and The Basement (Kolkata) Sparks, Speed, Pasha, and Dublin (Chennai) DJ Kave also works as a scratch artist with the Indian hip-hop band ‘The Bling Thing’. He is a graduate in audio engineering from School of Audio Engineering (SAE). Today, he works as a music production assistant in movies and music albums. Kave also runs a DJ Workshop school – ‘The SkratchLab’, where he teaches the art of turntabling to newbies and established DJs. The school teaches advanced scratching, beat juggling and video DJ mixing.
