My Compelling Story

DJ Dippy is a professional DJ based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. He was born to create magic with his fingers and burn up a floor. This DJ has danced in his soul and music in his veins. A professional dancer and choreographer, DJ Dippy has been sweating it out on stage for nearly 12 years now. Blessed with an immense creativity and the fire that leads him to excel each time he puts his mind to something, it was his passion for dance that got him interested in DJing. This DJ made it his business to stay in the game right from college. Soon, he made a mark with his uber-cool gigs, and Dippy started travelling out of Kolkata for shows. Over the last seven years, Dippy has been DJing professionally, and his champion run includes quite a few stars. From grabbing the title of Don of the DJs during a competition organised by Red FM to winning the regional finals of the 2007 Times Music War of the DJs and winning competitions in nearly every college festival, he has been adding feathers to his cap every now and then. Despite it all, Dippy remained true to dancing, and he will never let it go. He emerged as the runner’s up on the popular dance reality show, Dance Dance, on Sony. But, he had already claimed fame when he began to DJ LIVE every Saturday night on Red FM. Dippy has woven magic music in almost about every hotel, club and event in Kolkata as well as around the country and Southeast Asia. His special performances include sets with DJ Suketu and Whosane and gigs with Honey Singh, Vishal-Shekhar, Salim-Sulieman, Band of Boys, Meet Brothers, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Kailash Kher, Shaan. – the list goes on.
