DJ Clitus has a pedigree of experience, making a lasting impression on clubbers everywhere with his uplifting funky sounds and peak time progressive sets. He is also currently the only DJ in India who exclusively plays his tunes on vinyl, as he believes that no form of digital recording can reproduce the true sine waves required for a genuine effect of music on the dance floors. His mixes take elements from across the spectrum of funky, vocal, electro, Latino, tribal, and progressive house, and creates a harmonious melting groove. He is known across as one of the best LIVE DJs. Throughout the early 90s, he continued to wow crowds playing an eclectic party set of house, hip-hop and garage. He pioneered the afternoon parties in Bangalore with a clientele comprising of the young and ready to party. The scene went on to become a huge trend. Towards the 2000’s, house music moved through a revolution across the world, and Clitus made the same his forte.  His style is more uplifting in nature, his brand of instrumental (sax/piano/guitar) led house music mixed with sprinkling of funky and vocal electro. His music is known for big sounds and strong baselines. Towards mid 2000’s, he pioneered the late-night underground parties that went hand-in-hand with the energy of house music. Most of these parties are known to end with the sunrise accompanying the still-dancing revelers. He has also taken his brand of music successfully to places like Pondicherry, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mysore, Delhi and Goa.
