DJ AV began his career in a pub known as ‘Sparks’ in 2005 in his hometown Bhubaneswar. His interest developed as he came across DJs from other states such as DJ Suman and DJ Kuki from Hyderabad. His areas of interest are EDM, BDM and Dubstep. He also admires the creativity of DJ Chetas, DJ Suketu, David Guetta, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas, Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam and Jagjit Singh. He also appreciates bands such as Linkin Park, Raeth, Indian Ocean and the Beatles. Sparks was later named ‘Rock On’ in 2008 and DJ AV continued his work with this pub for the next 10 years. He now has many students and dreams of opening a school where he will train his pupils about mastering the art of being a professional DJ.
