DJ Aqeel, also known as Aqeel Ali, is a professional DJ based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He is the only Indian DJ who has filled up concert sized venues on an international scale. He was the only DJ to play twice at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Swiss). He represented India and entertained dignitaries like Bill Clinton, Kofi Annan and others. His first album Shake it Daddy Mix was an instant hit among music lovers. Aqeel released nine blockbuster albums and sold over seven million copies worldwide that redefined the landscape of Bollywood music. Aqeel owns clubs like RSVP (Delhi) and One Beach (Goa), the nightclub chain Hype (Mumbai, Delhi, Goa and Ludhiana) and Poison in Mumbai. He has spun at the sangeet and weddings of Saif and Kareena, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and many more. Corporate tycoons hired him for their events such as the sangeet night of Laxmi Mittal’s daughter.
