Diya and her LIVE band are a professional act based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The LIVE act features four of the most dynamic, young musicians on the world music scene – internationally acclaimed sitar virtuoso, Pt Ravi Chary and new age tabla player, Satyajit Talwalkar (son of the most respected tabla maestro, Pt Suresh Talwalkar), and India’s finest and busiest drums-n-bass duo, Gino Banks and Sheldon D’silva. Their music is lyrical, rhythmic and spontaneous. The heartbeat and pulse of this act emanate from India but resonates to the far corners of the universe in a celebration of hope, love, and joy.
