My Compelling Story

Ditty is a professional singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Ditty is the moonlighting artistic alter ego of the architect, Aditi Veena. Her LIVE performances combine music with innovative spatial experiences and have ranged from performing in small close basements with visual projections to a walking garden concert through the beautiful Zorba village where the audience move through the gardens with the musicians to listen to their songs in various different spaces. Her first EP is called Mumblings (on the impression interactions with four charming monsieurs in the life of Ditty). It is a concept EP connecting four stories about four special men in Ditty's life. And since Ditty wanted it to be more than just music, she ended up writing a small storybook which unfolded and illustrated all four stories. Bombay Bicycle club, Daughter, Mariah Carey, Janis Joplin, The Doors, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Ella Fitzgerald, Madeleine Peyroux, Aerosmith are her major influences.
