Did You know?

Dissected Souls is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Formerly known as Soul, the band was formed in 2010 by a group of guys jamming covers of bands like Megadeth and Metallica. The band presently operates with Darjeeling as its base. With no proper future of the band in track, these guys, Dipesh, Yogen, and Divakar, took an aggressive approach towards their music and were then introduced to a new member, Sunny, who took over the bass duties for the band, hence completing the lineup.   Later, they decided to leave behind covering songs and focus on original music. Till date, the band has six original compositions. The band faced rough times after June 2011 leading up to a lineup change and due to that, the band had to be stagnant for a while. The lineup is now active with new members. Currently, they are working on new singles and working on a new sound. Some of their original tracks are Remorse, Dissected Souls (Self-titled), All Hail the Mindfreak, Remains, Absolute Replenishment, and Sovereign. Their music comprises melody, grooves, and progressions derived out of the power derived out of their own selves. Some of their inspirations are Chimaira, Lamb of God, Gojira, August Burns Red, and many more.
