In 2022, he came into the limelight after he won a silver medal in the mens pairs and the mens fours at the 2022 Commonwealth Games organised in Birmingham along with his teammates Navneet Singh, Chandan Kumar Singh, and Sunil Bahadur. They lost 5-18 to England in the final at Victoria Park at Royal Leamington Spa.
