Diljott is trained from Actor Prepares, Mumbai and honed in classical, folk and Western dances. She can speak Hindi, English and Punjabi fluently. Having being clicked by ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani at the very beginning, she has done various advertisements with HPCL, Amartex Suitings, and Larsen and Toubro, and also featured in national magazines like Filmfare, My Mobile, and Tricity Calling. She has also worked as a lead actress in 'Yaar Annmulle 2', and was honored as 'most promising new face of Punjabi cinema' in Punjabi Golden Honors Award ceremony, held in February 2014. She has featured in the song 'Patiala Peg' of Diljit Dosanjh and the song has been a big hit.
