Diljit Dosanjh is a Punjabi superstar who is basically a Singer and an Actor. He is based in Chandigarh but keeps on travelling due to his busy schedule. He was born in Jalandhar and was brought up in Ludhiana. He had music in his soul due to which he began singing shabads at the local gurudwaras. In the year 2000, this superstar entered in the music industry and released his album ‘Ishq Da Uda Ada.’ The music album was released under the banner of Finetone. In 2004, Diljit again came up with another album, ‘Dil’. Though both of the albums didn't go well in the music industry but still Diljit kept going on. Diljit Dosanjh also came up with some peppy tracks, ‘Smile’ and ‘Nachdiyan Alran KuwariyanAlran Kuwariyan,’ which increased his popularity in the Punjabi music industry and people started liking him. His songs like ‘Daaka’ and ‘Paggan Pochviyan’ came on the top list and were the dance anthems. After a few albums and singles, he released his album, ‘The Next Level.’ This album had nine tracks and all the tracks were hit. This album increased the popularity of Diljit Dosanjh. Being a Sikh and also attached to God, he released the religious album ‘Sikh’ in the year 2012. He also sang the original title track of the superhit movie, 'Mel Karaade Rabba.’ His First movie as a lead actor was 'The Lion Of Punjab.’ The movie could not do well at the box office, but the song, ‘Lak 28 Kudi Da 47 Weight Kudi Da,’ from the movie, was a massive hit. Yo Yo Honey Singh was also featured in this song, and the song bagged #1 position in the official download charts in the UK. ‘Jihne Mera Dil Lutteya,’ was Diljit's second movie; the film also starred Gippy Grewal in the main lead. The actress in the film was Neeru Bajwa.
