Satyamurthy, was a renowned scriptwriter in the Telugu film industry who wrote films Telugu films like Devatha (1982), Khaidi No. 786 (1988), and Pedarayudu (1995). Satyamurthy died of a heart attack in December 2015.Growing up in a family with a musical background, Devi Sri Prasad got inclined towards music at a very young age. In childhood, he used to listen to songs of Ilaiyaraaja.Prasads mother enrolled him in Maestro Sri Mandolin U. Shrinivas singing classes when he was in school.
