He grew up in Churu, Rajasthan.When he was 9 years old, he met an accident while climbing a tree and touched a live wire of 11000 volts. The accident was so severe that his left hand was amputated.He started practicing Javelin Throw with a hand-made wooden-Javelin in his fields.In 2004, the Government of India awarded him the Arjuna Award. I am confident that just like in Athens and Rio, I will win a gold medal in Tokyo too..
