Demented Symphony is a seven-piece progressive/thrash metal band from Guwahati that is formed due to the love of a bunch of metalheads that came together to pursue their love and passion for music. All the band members are students of IIT Guwahati. Initially, the band was formed comprising vocalist Arnish Chakraborty, Seim Timung, Shan Yan, Rahul Saha and Manash Borah in the year 2011. Later in 2012, Kiran, Sanjay, Pradip, Daimalu and Sandy joined and added much variety in the band. The band is known to be the first ever metal band from IIT Guwahati. Demented Symphony is heavily influenced by artists like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Europe, Skid Row, Bon Jovi etc. Current Members: Kiran Saikia (Vocals) Seim Timung (Guitars) Sanjay Dutta (Guitars) Daimalu Baglary (Guitars) Pradip Das (Bass) Purusharth Chandryan (Keyboard) Manash Borah (Drums)
