Delhi the Band is a LIVE act based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi.
The rock band performs renditions of popular English, Hindi and Sufi songs along with the original compositions of Ajay Chanam (AJ). The band is named after India&#39;s capital to represent music the band stands for.
Ajay Chanam is a singer, songwriter, composer and the founding member of the band. Ajay came to fame with Yeh Pal, his first original single, that climbed top 15 most popular MTV Indies Chart in August 2014.
His third original and first composition in English, Fly Away, launched with VH1 India in January 2016 and also ranked 15th position globally on iTunes charts, singer-songwriter section, of Art of The Mix on 25th February 2016.
The man with a golden voice, Ajay renders rock versions of choicest tunes from India and around the world and his personal compositions LIVE with this band.
Chika Ahuja is an entrepreneur, lyricist and a pianist for Delhi the Band. Playing professionally for past two years, this band is her first band venture. Passionate about music, Chika is also anchoring a theatre rock series on Bikers Road Radio being repurposed at the storyboard level right now.
Alvin Bruno, a 15-year old music prodigy and perhaps the youngest music director in India, handles sound arrangement for the LIVE performance.
He has also signed on a soon-to-be launched Kannada movie, been awarded the prestigious Yuva Kalasreshta recognition and released three music singles already. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
