Biography

Deepak Dobriyal, born on 1st September 1975 in Pauri, Garhwal district, Uttrakhand. His family came to Delhi when he was just five years old. Deepak completed his studies from Govt. Boys Senior Secondary Public School. Deepak started his career in 1994 with theatre actor Arvind Gaur. His notable plays are Tughlaq, Andha Yug, Final Solutions, Desire under the Elms, Rakt Kalyan, Court Martial, Operation Three Star, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, and many more. He also did many plays with director Pt. N.K. Sharma Deepak made his Bollywood debut in 2003 with the film Maqbool. His acclaimed roles came from the movies , Omkara, Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu: Returns, Hindi Medium, and Maqbool. These roles also made him win many awards.
