Biography
Deep Brown aka Ankur Kedia is a professional DJ based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. His career began in the year 2006 at the age of 16 when he played as a resident DJ in various local clubs, which helped him hone his skills. He has been playing at several best clubs and festivals throughout India under his previous collaborative project, 'Undefined Dimension'. His new project, Deep Brown, is a mix of sounds and emotions that evolve from deep and funky grooves with melodic progressions and intense beat-driven sounds. He is among the early DJs to use digital DJing. Playing four decks with LIVE drum sequencing, Ankur's sets are based on old-school vibe of pure flow and smooth mixes. In 2013, he co-founded the promotion agency 'Dusdozen' to introduce deeper shades of house and techno to Kolkata.
