Ravi is a professional DJ based out of Margao, Goa. After six years of complete dedication and love for what he does the best, DJ Ravi is certainly a respected and influential freelance artist of Goa. The smooth flow of old favorite RnB and hip-hop tunes mixed with the latest hits will have your booty shaking all night long, as he effortlessly mixes in his own unique way, with a fine-tuned ear for good music and his fancy finger work on the decks. His sets consist mainly of RnB, hip-hop and UK Garage music and House music. He has been spending hours improving on what he believes he was born to perfect. A result of this commitment and passion is the return of DJ RAVI, now back on the scene even better, harder and faster. Ravi’s technical knowledge on sound engineering has enabled him to experiment and develop techniques and tricks for which he is speedily becoming well-known. He was confined to developing his talents at his home, where he spent hours concentrating and practicing what was soon to become his passion in life. To this very day, he aims to improve and add onto what he has managed to master, to date. The age of 18 saw him play at youngster parties, pool parties, corporate events, fashion shows and NRI weddings; this was the birth of a legendary star in the making – DJ Ravi. He got a second runner up consolation prize at a DJ competition (Goa Level), which was held on 15 August 2009, for playing good music and pulling the crowd on the dance floor. In 2012, his first retro folk remix was selected for Radio Mirchi Mix contest from Goa and has been played on BIG 92.7 FM channel. This opened up many doors for him and was the start of the journey to becoming the DJ he was born to be. Well known for his versatility, this DJ can play any type of music on request, but of his favorite type of music is what he specializes in.
