Debojit Saha is a professional singer based out of the capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai. The winner of 'Voice of India' Debojit started out as a singer for Doordarshan Kendra and All India Radio in Silchar. Later, he enrolled himself to learn Indian classical music from the maestro, Pt Askaran Sharma, and got certified in Sangeet Visharad Part - I. He won the runner-up position in a music contest called 'Ghazal-e-Sara' on ETV’s Urdu Channel. Subsequently, he grabbed the chance to participate in Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005. After winning the Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa title, he released his first solo album called 'Debojit', which was a great hit. Since then, he has done playback for many Hindi films such as 88 Antop Hill, Funtoosh, 'Tees Maar Khan' 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster', and much more. Other than Hindi, Debojit has many Bengali and Assamese solo albums to his credit like 'Shopno Shajiye' and 'Theek Bela Teen Ghotikay' released by Saregama HMV. Performing in front of a LIVE audience is Debojit’s forte. His repertoire of songs is very eclectic, and the spectrum widely ranges from soft melodies to foot-tapping dance numbers, as well as high octave Sufi songs. He has enthralled audiences all over the world with his extremely talented singing. While his high energy performances often galvanize his fans.
