Deafen is a LIVE band based out of Dimapur, Nagaland. They play experimental metal music. Formed in 2009, they want to spread the message of love through music. Their songs mostly deal with humanity and social life. The band has released two tracks since its formation, namely The Last Phobia and Fate of Misery. Fate of Misery has been featured on a compilation album called New Year Killing Spree released by Metal Spree. Both the tracks received appreciation from all over in high numbers. Achievements: First Runner's up Summer Jam, 2010 Nagaland Rock Contest Finalist, 2011 AEC Pyrokinesis Guwahati, 2012 Stormbringer II Guwahati 2012 With Sri Lankan band, Dhisti NIT Thundermarch Finalist Silchar, Assam, 2012
