Biography

Hailing from Mumbai, a city which never sleeps, Darshan is a fantastic drummer and musician. He sets the stones rolling at all the concerts where he plays. He has worked with all the big music directors in Bollywood - A.R. Rahman, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Amit Trivedi and Salim Sulaiman.   Some are born with a silver spoon but Darshan was born with a drumstick in hand. A child prodigy, he started playing right from the age of 2! Yes, you heard that right. If that was not enough, here is more to make you fall in wonder with the rockstar. Darshan established his name in the Limca Book of Records as the youngest drummer in the year 1997, when he was just 13 years old.   Darshan features regularly on musical TV shows - MTV Unplugged and Coke Studio. Watching him play the drums is a real treat for every musician. He has performed at over 3000 concerts all over the world and has several awards to his name. Darshan has played and toured with popular bands like Hariharan, Farhan Live, Salim Sulaiman, Mumbai Stomp and The Bombay Projekt. He keeps collaborating with other musicians to compose signature tracks for his fans.
