Biography

Dark Prophecy is a LIVE band based out of Kerala. In 2010, during their school days, the members formed a heavy metal band called Soul Surge to compete for interschool fests. The members included Akhil CS (bass), Gokul (lead guitar), Arjun Ajith (drums), Hanees (keyboard) with three vocalists, Vishnu Rajeev, Vishnu Dev and Vysakh MK. The band started by covering songs by Black Sabbath, Metallica, Europe, etc. Later, the act was disbanded and everyone went their separate ways. During 2011, Akhil CS started upgrading his skills as the lead guitarist and formed the band, Frozen Guilt, with Vysakh and Abhiram (rhythm guitar), which focused on posting videos of original music and covers of popular songs on YouTube. Vishnu Dev and Hanees joined later on. In the course of time, the band got bigger with members namely Vignesh MK (vocals), Amal Rajasekharan (band manager/percussion), and Nanda Gopal (bass /percussion). By the end of 2012, the three amigos Vysakh, Akhil and Vishnu, decided to take the band to another level and renamed the band as Dark Prophecy.
