The word 'Daksh' was introduced by Kavish Mishra. He is the founder of the band and introduced it with multiple Hindi Rock genres to the world in the year 2007. Daksh is a Hindi term for the word 'dexterous'. They gave the music of official soundtrack 'Din Dooba Teri Yaad Mein' in the movie 'Kuch Spice To Make It Meetha', which was released in 2012. Kavish Mishra Kavish has studied and learnt Hindustani classical music with enormous passion and devotion from the Jaipur gharana (school of music). His soul-stirring lyrics add life to the band. A natural talent, Kavish has been passionate towards music from a very young age. His positive attitude and a sharp sense of humor rubs off on everyone he interacts with, be it his band members or the audience performs for. Once they felt they had a winning melody, they decided to turn the melody into songs.
