Biography
D One Eight is a professional rap duo based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Formed in 2010, it has made an immense impact on the Indian underground hip hop culture and has risen to a ubiquitous phenomenon with their songs – Everything I Wanted, Girl-Aint-Friend, Left Untold, and many more. The duo consists of DoubLe-S' (Manish Semwal) and Raga (Anurag Atwal). Both are engineers-turned-musicians. Their songs range from heart touching numbers like Turn to Gray to aggressive rap like Girl-Aint-Friend to club tracks like Party All Night. Their songs are influenced by their family backgrounds and seasoned with a unique fusion of adrenaline pumping lyrics and feelings like aggression and patriotism. Some of their influences are Mike Shinoda, Eminem, Chris Brown, and The Game.
