My Compelling Story
Cosmic Attic is a LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The band is the brainchild of Sharath Narayan, who has been making music with Kochi/Bangalore-based alternative rock band called Black Letters. Sharath launched his solo venture with ‘Climb’, an alternative electronic EP. The EP is available as a free download on Bandcamp. Narayan grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Ilayaraja, AR Rahman, and a lot of ghazals and Carnatic music. His family considered music as a way of life. Catchy melodies backed with expressive vocals and strong alternative composition is one of the interesting sound people have heard in a while. The EP is very pop-influenced and is a great attempt at solo production. And, it has the potential to evolve into something unique.
