Biography

Chunk Face is a LIVE band based out Kolkata, West Bengal. They play punk rock, alternative punk, and pop punk music. The band, as it has been named, was initially formed by Kaushik (guitar/vocals) along with Jayanta (drums). Their individual tastes finally got entirety when Sayantan (bass/backing vocals) later joined to formulate the trio. The band, as the name suggests, is bent upon the punk genre of music. With influences from the 80s, which is known as the 'Dawn of Punk' in the musical chronology, Chunk Face blends in music indigenous to them along with those defining punk rock to make some experimental sweet harmony. Main influences of this band include Off Spring, Blink 182, Simple Plan, Mudder Dolls, Sex Pistol, Saosin, Fly Leaf, Burning Hotels, and Switch Foot. Chunk Face produces music unorthodox to the pervading scenario in Kolkata, and it promises you to think twice about its music if not completely adore it.
