Chrisanne Pereira is a professional pianist/keyboardist based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She started playing piano at the age of four. She is a third-generation pianist, and has been heavily inspired and influenced by her mother, Vian Pereira, who is known to be a veteran amongst the teachers in the industry. Chrisanne spent her entire childhood rooting a solid foundation in music theory and worked hard on mastering her skills with the instrument. She spent close to eight years completing a course in both Music Theory and Piano from Trinity College, London. She accomplished her Grade 8 certification from Trinity College London and ABRSM Theory of Music and Solo Piano. Her passion for music led her to become an Academic Consultant at Trinity College, London. She initially taught music at the Theme Institute of Music, Mumbai. She has now managed to set up her own private academy and continues to train and inspire children and adults to take an interest in music. During her teens, Chrisanne started to play at college venues all over Mumbai; she even went on to win a few awards for her graceful work with the instrument. Her quest to explore new music grew as she attempted and became successful at playing multiple genres of music. Initially trained in classical music, Chrisanne has explored her versatility across pop, rock, country, retro, jazz, Bollywood, and many more. Her quest to being a full-time musician led her to play corporate shows with world-class musicians in some of the finest hotels, malls, and pub venues across the country. She has even performed LIVE on Radio City 91.1 FM channel. Chrisanne has also been acknowledged for her contribution to the Bollywood blockbuster song book, Super Hits-Volume 1, and continues to build on her never-ending quest of being recognized as a world-class pianist. As an artist, her motto is to spread the love and joy of music in the lives of people. She believes in inspiring people to believe more in this form of art and spend quality time in their everyday life with music. She has also recently started an annual recital for all her students to encourage young talent and give beginners and intermediate level students a platform to perform.
