Chinmay Mandlekar is an Indian actor, writer, stage director. He is known for his work in Marathi TV shows and films like Tu Majha Saangaati, Tu Tithe Me, Farzand, Fatteshikast, and Pawankhind. In 2022, he appeared in Vivek Agnihotris acclaimed film The Kashmir Files.He grew up in a middle-class Marathi family in Mumbai.In his school days, his teacher Jaya Relekar made her students dance to the Marathi song Naach Re Mora; Chinmay Mandlekar was also among those students who danced to that song. Later, he appeared in many Marathi films like Krantiveer Rajguru (2010), Gajaar (2011), Morya (2011), Mokala Shwas (2012), and Hou De Jarasa Ushir (2012).In 2012, he played the role of SSP Chavan in the Hindi film Shanghai. Later, he appeared in many Hindi films like Mokssh (2013 ), Sameer, (2017), and Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018).In 2014, he played the lead role of Satyajit Mudholkar in the Marathi TV show Tu Tithe Me; the show was produced by Shashank Solanki.In 2018, he played the role of a police inspector in Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television.In 2019, he played the role of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Marathi film Fatteshikast; he played the same role in the 2022 Marathi film Pawankhind.
