Sudarsan Ramamurthy, is a storyteller, comedy-producer, author, stand-up comedian and a sergeant of PUN-nery. He founded the comedy group Chennai Comedy. Based out of Chennai, and as the name suggests with a strong local influence on their jokes, the group is a well- renowned name in the Chennai comedy circuit. Chennai Comedy have a number of shows to their credit. ?With an eternal passion for puns, a twisted way of looking at life which expresses itself in the form of funny observations and a spontaneity that can hold the crowd and a show together, Chennai Comedy is an important and prominent comic group in the Chennai scene. Established in 2014, by Sudarsan Ramamurthy, the group has vast amount of performing standup comedy and executing open mics and shows, They have their own inherent style and have a good following in the city. All kinds of hilariousness can be found in this crew and the best part is that their content is constantly new and fresh.  They have been a major influence on how the comedy scene has evolved in the city of late, and are all crowd packers with their reputation and superb skill set.
