Chandresh Kudwa is a professional guitarist based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai.
Well-known as one of the finest guitar players in the country today, Chandresh stands out not just for his extraordinary skill on the instrument, but also for his remarkable original compositions comprising of the chunkiest riffs and strictly melody oriented solos and engaging stage act.
He has been playing for well over 18 years now and has been a part of bands like Freedom and Dream Out Loud (two critically acclaimed albums titled – A Moment of Weakness and Human Race).
Wanting to further his creative boundaries, he founded Axe-Tortion, a concept that acts as a stage for solo guitar players to come together, play their originals and lay the foundations for a monster jam on stage!
He has two successful solo albums to his credit – Conqueror and A Change. He has also collaborated with world renowned guitar players like Jennifer Batten (Guitarist with Michael Jackson) and Mattias IA Eklundh (Guitarist with Swedish band, Freak Kitchen).
Chandresh is also a composer and a sessions player in the ad and film industry, and his compositions can be heard on jingles created for Airtel, BMW, Subisu Internet, and CEAT Tyres to name a few.
He is known for his work with Bollywood composers like Amit Trivedi, AR Rahman, Sonu Nigam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and Mithoon.
His guitar work and the insane solo is also heard on the track titled ‘Dilli Dilli’ composed by Amit Trivedi for the Bollywood film called No one killed Jessica.
He owns and runs an online guitar tutorial classes called The Guitar Thing and has been a well-respected guitar instructor for well over 15 years.
