My Compelling Story

Brown Bastards is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad. The rock scene internationally has been on the decline. It never really had a boom locally speaking. But of late, the number of bands putting out their art has been on the rise. Inspired by such acts to revive rock or a little less intentionally and be a major part of the last of a dying breed, The Brown Bastards is a blend of classic and hard rock with unmistakable blues influences.  The reason behind the name is that the members strive to outdo those from far off nations with heavy insult implied. The band is a culmination of individuals who have been performing with other acts over the last two years covering happening places like HRC, Pirate Brew, Lamaakan, Houz of Blues, The Groove, SOUL, Forum Mall, Inorbit Mall and private gigs at corporate companies like MindTree, Value Labs, etc. Now into acoustic sets, the band has been pulling off soulful performances whilst still sticking to the genres to which they belong at venues like 10 Downing Street, The Gallery Café, etc.
