Bonnie Chakraborty LIVE is a rock band based out of the capital city of West Bengal, Kolkata. It is the brainchild of Bonnie Chakraborty. Bonnie has been actively working in the Indian and international music industry for the last 23 years as a singer and composer. He is a known name in the Bollywood industry with numerous hits to his name. But before he came to Bollywood, he was one of the founder members of the pioneering rock band in Kolkata way back in the early 90's, Krosswindz. The band spearheaded the nation's rock movement with regular performances at the country's premiere rock festivals like Independence Rock, Mumbai and other big festivals at the Indian Institute for Management and Sciences. Moving on, he ventured into the playback zone and subsequently moved to Chennai, where he started working with the maestro, AR Rahman, as a singer. This association lasted for six years and he has sung for films like Mangal Pandey -The Rising, Guru, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose-The Forgotten Hero, Jodha Akbar and Dilli-6. Bonnie has also sung for the critically acclaimed Bengali movie, Sukno Lanka, besides also singing for Dui Prithibi, Obosheshe, Iti Mrinalini, Bapi Bari Jaa, etc.
