Bombay Jayshree, the voice behind the famous Bollywood number 'Zara Zara behekta hai' is an award-winning vocalist, music composer, and Gurvi. She is the fifth generation singer and musician in her family. A disciple and mentee of Shri TR Balamani and Lalgudi Jayaraman, she is well-trained in Carnatic music and has an exemplary musical proficiency. She has been trained for Hindustani Music by Mahavir Jaipurvale and Ajay Pohankar themselves. With a swelling popularity, Bombay Jayshree has performed in festivals and concerts in more than 35 nations all around the globe. Her music comprises of a fine blend of Carnatic music, our legacy in literature and various other art forms. Her strong belief in experimentation and collaboration with various genres and forms has ferried her immense love from her fans. Jayshree's endearment and passion for music have prompted her to establish 'Hitham' a foundation which teaches music to autistic children and traverses the therapeutic value of music in their lives. Jayshree has given her voice in a number of South Indian tracks in various films and albums. Her list of achievements starts with her first song which was which she sang for the renowned music composer and singer Ilayaraja. While climbing the ladder of success, she took her initial steps with the famous duet 'Nurumughaye' for the film 'Iruvar' along with Unnikrishnan and composed by none other than A.R. Rahman.
