Blue Wings is a LIVE band based out Guwahati, Assam. Formed in 2011, they are a vernacular (Hindi) rock band; ambitious enough to build a new Hindi rock/metal scene in India which they like to call NEWHM (North Eastern Wave of Vernacular Metal) along with few other bands in the scene. Not being genre slaves, these boys run wild with their compositions that have got the chops from genres ranging from thrash metal and grunge to alternative rock. This concept is mostly inspired by Visual Kei, a movement among Japanese musicians. The band is known for their energetic LIVE performances and their ability to deliver some extraordinary moments with the crowd on stage. It is their devotion to the people that keeps these boys rolling.
