My Compelling Story

Blek is a three-piece LIVE band based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Formed in 2011, Blek is one of the five winners of the Ray-Ban Never Hide Sounds, a nationwide talent hunt. Their debut EP was 'Hexes Drama and Other Reasons for Evacuation', released in 2012. They have performed at Hornbill Music Festival in Nagaland, Ziro Festival of Music in Arunachal Pradesh, NH7 Weekender Festival – Bangalore, the GOD Music Festival, Pune, and also with the Indie March Festival at Counterculture Bangalore and India Bike Week Music Festival in Goa in 2013. The band performed at the Jack Daniel’s Annual Rock Awards and was awarded with the Best Emerging Artist of the Year. In 2013, Blek performed at The Great Escape Music Festival in Brighton, UK, and played two packed house shows at the Queens Pub and Komedia Bar as part of the Festival and received great reviews from the local media.
