Biography

Biswaal is a professional painter based out of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. From a self-taught man born in a remote corner of rural Odisha to a railway man, and finally to one of the inspiring self-taught artists of the national and international repute, Biswaal, through his chequered tryst, has changed the way a self-taught artist is looked at by the art world in general. His technical perfection in his trade has left art connoisseurs and critics wanting for more. Watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic, collage, caricature, and cartoon are his specialties. He has left his mark in all the genres and medium of art and always maintains his best. Achievements: Participated in a group show in Washington DC, 2014 and Kuwait, 2014 Among the top 10 selected artists from India to compete at Buddha-Gandhi-mother Teresa art show in Jakarta, Indonesia, 2013 Took part in a week-long watercolour workshop at Vishakhapatnam organised by SCZCC, 2012 Painting FIRE-11 selected for exhibition at Bombay Art Society annual art show at Jehangir Art Gallery,  Mumbai, 2013 Participated in Asian Art Summit (JAS-14), Jaipur, along with selected artists from across the globe, 2014 Three paintings selected in Asian Wildlife Art Exhibition, Lucknow, 2015 Two paintings, The Lounge and The Ruins In Use, Bombay Art Society, 2009 Three paintings Variety Square, Wet Platform, and Road Less Travelled, Art Society of India, 2012
