Bintang and Jigyasu is an Indo-Indonesian musical collaboration based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Bintang Manira Manik is a multi-percussionist from Indonesia. Learning the djembe at an early age convinced him to dig deeper into the rhythm world. Since he was nine-years-old, Bintang started taking djembe lessons from Mamadou Diabate (Burkina Faso djembe and cora player) and started to explore other percussions such as conga, bongo, timbale, kendang sunda (Indonesian drum), and transpose the rhythm to drum sets. Now, he has been learning the tabla for three years from Pt Virendra Malviya at Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, Delhi. His calming mind and energetic soul make a good combination of calming beats into a powerful rhythm that lift your feet up to dance. Rahul Jigyasu is the student of tabla maestro, Govind Chakraborty, and renowned percussionist, Shri Suchet Malhotra. With the roots of ancient spiritualism and heart of a contemporary musician, he plays the didgeridoo, frame drums, djembe, and much more.

Bintang and Jigyasu is an Indo-Indonesian musical collaboration based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. Bintang Manira Manik is a multi-percussionist from Indonesia.
