He used to participate in his school plays, where he developed a desire to become an actor.When he was struggling to get work in the field of acting, he used to dance in various orchestra groups.Along with theatre, he has also worked in a few Marathi TV serials and movies.In 2012, Bhushan Kadu appeared in the Marathi reality show Comedy Express as a contestant.He won the Zee Gaurav (2011) award for his play Chehra Pheri.He participated in Bigg Boss Marathi in 2018, the very first season of Marathi Bigg Boss.Bhushan Kadu is a trained painter and loves to do painting in his free time. He did his course from Sir Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy School of Art, Mumbai.
