Bhavit Chopra is a Delhi-based Hindustani classical violinist who bridges tradition and modern expression through his art. Trained for over 15 years in the gayaki ang style, his playing mirrors the subtleties of the human voice, evocative, fluid, and deeply emotional.Bhavit’s journey with music began at four with vocal training, before he found his calling in the violin at six. A CCRT National Scholarship holder since 2016, he has consistently been recognised for his excellence in Indian classical music. His performances blend the discipline of classical training with the warmth and storytelling of a modern performer, drawing audiences into a soundscape that feels both rooted and fresh.Over the years, Bhavit has performed at some of India’s most celebrated cultural and creative stages, including the Gaurav Gupta Bridal Couture Show at NMACC (Mumbai), the APAIE International Conference (2025), the Amazon Connect Summit, and the National Cultural Festivals organised by CCRT. His artistry also shone at the UMAK Youth Festival, where he represented the next generation of Indian classical musicians.At O.P. Jindal Global University, Bhavit co-founded Thadeem – The Indian Classical Dance and Music Society, curating live productions that fuse dance and music traditions such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, and Odissi. His performances as both violinist and creative director have helped revive the beauty of live classical accompaniment on modern stages.While grounded in Hindustani classical music, Bhavit’s creative expression extends to Bollywood, pop, and world genres. His performances at weddings, cultural festivals, and private events weave classical depth into melodies familiar to all, making every performance soulful and memorable.
