Bhavadhaarini Anantaraman is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. She comes from Sri Mayuram Vishwanatha Shastry's family and has been trained by DK Pattammal for more than 20 years. She began her recording career with solo albums for Kalavardhani Cassettes in 1997, followed by albums for ECHO (Bharath Records). Currently, she is the choice of many music directors like Guru Kaaraikkudi R Mani, BV Bala Sai, B Raghavendra Rao, Sivaramakrishna, Rajkumar Bharathy L Krishnan, Umashankar, Selvaganesh, Rajhesh Vaidhya, Prapancham Ravindran, and many more. Bhavadhaarini has also lent her voice for more than 500 albums till date in various genres. Achievements: ‘A’ grade artist of All India Radio’ Chennai in 2002 Recipient of the CCRT fellowship (Center for Cultural Resource and Talent) from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India Recipient of Sterling Holidays Scholarship for Vocal Music She received the ‘Sivaji Birudhu’ in 2009 in appreciation of her work in the field of Carnatic Music and Devotional Music Recipient of the Spic Scholarship for three years
