Bella Sulakhe is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Her singing talent got discovered when she was only nine years old and gave her first solo performance! She was encouraged by her mother Vaijayanti Sulakhe and got trained by Archana Kanere and Sri Moloy Banerjee. As a child artist, Bella shared the stage with Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar. Once, Kishore Kumar referred to her as 'Hamari Chhoti Lata'. Bella has taken part in big musical events with playback singers and film stars, like the 'Showman of the Millennium' – a tribute to Raj Kapoor – which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Anupam Kher, Anuradha Paudwal, Juhi Chawla, Nitin Mukesh, and took place in the Wembley Arena, London. Bella has done world tours, performing with Madhuri Dixit, Hema Malini, Salman Khan, Dharmendra, Jitendra, Rishi Kapoor, Laxmikant Pyarelal, Shridevi, Bappi Lahiri, Ravi, Ravindra Jain, Asha Bhosle, Kumar Sanu, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Manhar Udhas, Shailendra Singh, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurty, and many more. Bella also participated as a celebrity guest in four episodes of the Sony TV show, 'K for Kishore'. Bella has also been long associated with T-Series. She has sung covers, regional songs, qawwalis, ghazals, and bhajans. She has sung for private albums of Khayyam, Raviji, and Bappi Lahiri. She can sing in various languages like Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Assamese, Oriya, Bhojpuri, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and more. Bella, in 2005, received the Mata Sanmaan award from Maharashtra Times, for the Marathi movie 'Manini', in the 'best female singer' category.
