Behrooz Mihankhah&nbsp;is a&nbsp;singer-songwriter and a composer who&nbsp;was born and brought up in Tehran, Iran and came to India in the year 2007. He started his musical journey in India, by covering works of musicians that inspired him,&nbsp;and gradually started composing his own music. Behrooz was inspired to write his own lyrics by the political unrest in Iran, which&nbsp;he witnessed during his formative years.&nbsp;He now composes songs based on his experiences and observations, and mainly his musical influences. In the year 2012, he studied music at Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music and chose piano as his main instrument. Beside his own project where he plays with different musicians,&nbsp;Behrooz also plays with numerous bands and&nbsp;projects as a piano player and as a solo singer. His music can not&nbsp;be described as one particular genre, as his inspiration for each composition comes from a different source and it is dependent on the musicians he is playing with. Behrooz&nbsp;is influenced by music&nbsp;genres ranging from blues, funk, dub, reggae, disco&nbsp;and Latin to jazz and world music.
