Beats of Rajasthan is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Playing Sufi and fusion, the band follows Rajasthani culture and depicts the beauty of the state in a perfect manner. The band consists of eight highly experienced members from great musical backgrounds. The lead vocalist and founder of the band, Shahid Khan, belong to a marvellous musical background. His teacher and inspiration was his grandfather, Padma Bhushan Ustad Sultan Khan. He was an Indian sarangi player and classical vocalist belonging to the Indore Gharana. According to Shahid, music is a gift which he inherited from his ancestors. The eight members of the team create a massive essence in the audience and describe the culture in their language. They mesmerise the audience with the beauty of their music.
