Basavaraj Bommai is an Indian politician and a mechanical engineer who became the 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka on 28 July 2021. He is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and he has been elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly from Shiggaon thrice since 2008.Basavaraj Bommai completed his formal education and started working in the Pune division of Tata Motors.
