Biography

Barood is a Live band based out of Nagpur in Maharashtra. They specialize in Desi Rock, wherein they infuse Bollywood songs with a tinge of rock and metal. They love to entertain, and have fun and add a lot of creativity in their performances. The band has won several awards and competitions over the years. They have been the winners of YCCE Yash-14 Raga and Rockers War of Bands, Cummins College Engineering band competition in 2014. They were runners-up at Shivaji Science College in Nagpur, and at the prestigious SB Jain War of Bands. The band also received the best drummer ward at Raisoni's Symphony of Destruction and have many more in the list. The band has been rock solid based around Abhishek Kotriwar and Susmit Nimbhorkar. Abhishek is the lead guitarist and vocalist, while Susmit plays the keyboard and is also a vocalist. The bass and drums section has seen a change. While it was manned by Ajinkya Pawar and Vikas Barai previously, they now have Mohit Jain Msalkar and Vaibhav Bachale for bass and drums respectively. The band has a lot to offer and makes the shows super rocking. They also have a YouTube channel, where their creations are being appreciated.
